I can’t remember where and when I saw a kid riding his bike along the shore but the moment I saw it I said to myself, “That’s so cool!!! I have to do that.” When I rented out a bike for a day when I was out in Bantayan Island, I took it out to the shore. It was a bit of an effort getting the bike to the shore from the resort I was staying at because I had to cross a stream - there’s a sand bank, and my right slipper got caught with the incoming tide and I had to run after it. LOL. Pedaling was also harder because of the sand but it was a good ride. A really good ride :D
Edit: There was an area where there were bike tracks so I tried to follow that because I figured they rode on the more compact part of the shore, which is easier to pedal on.
Maligayang Pasko!
At the Yap - San Diego Ancestral Home in Cebu City. Christmas, 2010. It’s actually a museum. You ”donate” a little over a dollar (Php 50) to go in. It’s quite nice.
My friend and I were in an executive coach but leg space isn’t much if the person in front of you reclines their seat. My legs are longer than an average Filipina’s so I need more space. I had to tell the person in front of me if he could lift up his seat a bit because he was already literally lying down on my lap! I was lucky he was kind enough to oblige. The guy on the other side of the aisle could not get the female passenger in front of him to give him a little room. It irked me because she said she had the right to recline, but she was already cramping up the guy behind her! You have the right to exercise your right as long as you do not affect/trample on the rights of others. What about his right for space and movement? He could’t even stand up! Tsk tsk tsk. My friend and I wanted to butt in, but it seemed like the lady was really hormonal; could possibly even be violent hehe. It also wasn’t our battle. We just glared at her.
